1. Project and contact
Project: The Final Wait (thefinalwait.com). Public-facing creator: RyzeGTAVI. Privacy, account and legal requests: support@thefinalwait.com. The project does not publish the operator's personal residential address or full legal name. Legal identification requirements remain to be resolved, and this public pseudonym does not amount to a verified legal identity.
2. Information we handle
When you register, the service handles your Google-authenticated email, authentication identifier, public nickname, account creation time, accepted Terms version and time, selected time zone, optional newsletter choice and consent time, and information needed to issue a collectible ticket and display live reactions. Site and security services may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser or device information and abuse-prevention signals. The website may store your language, time zone, audio and interface preferences and cookie-consent choice on your device. We do not require your legal name or date of birth for community registration.
We do not ask community members to publish their real name. Your email address is not displayed to other community members; your nickname and live emoji reactions may be visible to participants in the same time-zone room. Every registered account also receives a collectible boarding pass showing its public nickname, edition, ticket number and original registration date. Anyone holding your unguessable public verification link can view these details. The link is not intended for indexing and will stop working after account deletion. Avoid sharing it if you do not want this information visible to recipients.
3. Why the information is used
Account authentication, profile and ticket generation and community functionality are provided as part of the service you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable). Security and fraud or abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to the necessary assessment. Optional announcements and Google Analytics require separate affirmative consent (Article 6(1)(a) where applicable). You may refuse analytics or marketing without affecting the account. Age eligibility is an unverified declaration included in acceptance of the Terms, not a separate identification check.
4. Services involved
Google supplies OAuth authentication; Supabase provides authentication and profile storage; Cloudflare provides hosting, asset delivery, security challenges and live infrastructure; Sender manages the optional mailing list; Google Analytics measures website use only if enabled by consent. These providers receive data necessary for their respective services, under their own applicable terms and notices. When you follow an external support or donation link, that external provider may process data under its own policy. Depending on provider configuration, processing or access may occur outside the EEA. Provider contracts, processing regions, transfer safeguards and exact retention schedules require verification; no specific transfer mechanism or storage location is represented as confirmed here.
5. Newsletters and withdrawal
Optional announcement emails are sent only after a separate newsletter opt-in. The email address may be transferred to Sender to administer that subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in a message or contact support@thefinalwait.com. You do not have to delete your account to unsubscribe. If an external mailing provider fails to complete an unsubscribe or deletion, support can help resolve the request; future optional messages should be suppressed while it is pending.
6. Retention
Account and profile information is held while an account is active and is intended to be removed when its account-deletion control is used. A successful account deletion also invalidates its linked public ticket. Security logs, necessary legal records and provider backups may remain for their respective retention periods. Live reactions are designed to be temporary. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until withdrawn, with any records necessary to respect opt-out requests or document consent. Exact provider backup and log periods have not yet been verified and should not be treated as fixed promises.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent to optional marketing or analytics at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. Contact support@thefinalwait.com for privacy requests. You may also complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority; a directory of European authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board.
8. Website analytics and changes
Cookie and local-storage notice.
The site uses browser storage and, where applicable, essential authentication or security technologies
for Google/Supabase login, Cloudflare security checks, remembering your cookie choice
(tfw_analytics), language, time zone, audio settings and similar requested preferences.
Optional Google Analytics is not loaded unless you select ACCEPT in the analytics consent controls;
you may choose DECLINE without affecting your account.

Analytics consent is separate from the mandatory Terms acknowledgment and optional newsletter selection.
Google and other providers may use their own cookies or storage under their applicable policies.
We review this notice when the website's processing or service providers change.
